The SG-LX Winter Boot is pre-assembled with six spikes made of galvanized steel, specially developed for our hoof boots, and offers optimal grip on ice, snow or even on muddy and deep ground conditions.
The shock-absorbing and joint-friendly insole remains completely intact, and the spikes do not cause any pressure points.
While the SG-X covers almost all hoof shapes, the SG-LX is especially suitable for horses with slightly narrower, longer hooves, pronounced balls and high heels. The SG-LX Winter Boot Kit contains two extension sets made of the same 100% recyclable thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) as the hoof boot itself. The extensions can be easily exchanged and adapted to the individual hoof, ball and heel shape.
Swiss Galoppers hoof boots are made in Lupfig, Switzerland from 100% recyclable plastic. The sole profile is extremely abrasion-resistant and has a lifespan of up to 2,000 riding kilometers. The flexible, shock-absorbing insole is gentle on the joints and prevents the hoof boot from turning on the hoof. The fastening strap made of particularly durable Velcro makes it easy and quick to put on and take off.
The SG-LX Winter Boot Kit includes:
- A pair of SG-LX winter hoof boots including six pre-mounted spikes
- A pair of fastening straps
- A pair of ankle straps with neoprene padding
- A pair of bulb protection pads
- 4 extensions including assembly tools. The SG-LX kit size 3-6 contains 50mm and 60mm extensions, the 60mm extension is pre-assembled. The SG-LX kit size 7-8 contains 60mm and 70mm extensions, the 70mm extension is pre-assembled.
For horses with particularly sensitive pasterns, we recommend the Swiss Galoppers fetlock protector (not included in the SG-LX Winter Boot Kit).
