Swiss Galoppers SG-L – hoof boots for narrow, elongated hooves

The SG-L hoof boots from Swiss Galoppers are particularly suitable for horses with narrower, elongated hooves, pronounced heel bulbs or high heels.

Interchangeable connectors in two lengths allow the fit to be adjusted to the individual shape of the hoof, heel bulbs and heels. The Boot-Kit contains one pair of hoof boots with matching accessories.

Which connectors are included?

You can easily replace the connectors yourself. The following lengths are included in the SG-L Boot-Kit:

• Sizes SG3-L to SG6-L: Connectors in 50 and 60 mm. The 60 mm connectors are pre-installed.
• Sizes SG7-L and SG8-L: Connectors in 60 and 70 mm. The 70 mm connectors are pre-installed.

This allocation also applies to the SG-LX Winter Boot-Kit.

• 1 pair of SG-L hoof boots in black
• 1 pair of black closure straps with Swiss Galoppers lettering
• 1 pair of black pastern straps with soft neoprene pads
• 1 pair of contoured heel bulb protection pads in black
• Connectors in two lengths, including assembly tool

The neoprene pads on the pastern straps and the heel bulb protection pads are secured with hook-and-loop fastenings.

Materials, comfort and manufacturing in Switzerland

• Made in Switzerland: The hoof boots and connectors are manufactured in Lupfig from 100% recyclable thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU).
• Abrasion-resistant sole tread: The tread is designed for high abrasion resistance.
• Flexible cushioning: The flexible, shock-absorbing insole helps keep the boots comfortable to wear.
• Easy handling: The closure strap with particularly durable hook-and-loop fastening makes the boots quick to put on and take off.

Matching accessories and winter model

• For horses with particularly sensitive pasterns, we recommend the pastern protector for SG Boots. This additional pastern protector is not included in the SG-L Boot-Kit.
• For winter use in snow, ice and mud, we recommend the SG-LX Winter Boot-Kit, including six pre-installed spikes.
